Digital Forensics Association

The Champlain Digital Forensics Association is having its first meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 26th at 8:30 p.m. This meeting will be about sharing experiences that Digital Forensic students had over the summer. Many of our members had internships where they could develop their forensics skills in a real world work environment.

One of the goals of the Digital Forensics Association is to help other digital forensics students understand what will be expected of them in the work place. By sharing their experiences from the internships they had, it will help other students learn what skills are valued in certain types of office environments. By listening to other peoples’ experiences it also helps other students narrow down which of the many areas of digital forensics that they want to pursue. The major goal of the Digital Forensics Association is for every member to be given the opportunity to share what they have learned in the field, and also any of their experiences they have had which are helpful and informative to other students.
