Freeware tools are viable alternatives to costly proprietary software. Freeware tools have no initial cost and a monetary free for upgrades, while still providing quality products and flexibility. They provide a way for developers, users, and companies to collaborate together to make higher quality software. In this project, we are going to be using an freeware tool to demonstrate how a freeware tool can be just as useful to a forensic investigation as its expensive competitor.
