Android Forensics

Smart phones have become a part of many people’s everyday lives because of their ability to perform so many functions, such as:  sending text messages and emails, browsing the internet, taking pictures and videos, and downloading and using applications. Currently, Android is the number one smartphone platform with a 61 percent market share (Whitney). With such a large share of the market, it is important to understand how to perform forensics on Android devices.
