CHAMPLAIN COLLEGE STUDENTS ATTEND THE COMPUTER ENTERPRISE INVESTIGATION CONFERENCE 2015

Imagine being a Champlain College student who has a passion for cyber security and/or digital forensics. You attend a school that has amazing professors and an education package that fits your career/learning goals. Aside from your formal academic experiences, you decide to intern at the Senator Patrick Leahy Center for Digital Investigation (LCDI) – a real world laboratory on Champlain College’s campus.  Then one day it happens; you receive an email saying you can apply for a trip to one of the best digital forensic/cyber security conferences – Guidance Software’s CEIC 2015.

Fast forward to today and I’m very happy to announce that 24 of Champlain College’s undergraduate students made the trip to Las Vegas last month to engage with industry experts across the world. They participated in the same trainings and attended the same networking opportunities as normal attendees. Some of them (Alex Parsons, Kayla Williford, Kelsey Ward and Hunter Gregal) were even featured on David Cowen’s Forensic Lunch for the work they’ve done in classes or at the LCDI:

Over the next few weeks our students will be writing blog posts and we will be sharing them on this blog so you can experience CEIC 2015 firsthand. We love to share knowledge and it’s important to do so in an intentional way.
