On March 26, 2015, Leahy Center for Digital Investigation Director, Jonathan Rajewski, presented to an audience at the Data4Decisions Conference in Raleigh, NC. His talk focused on big data, analytics and how data security / breach are areas that must be “top of mind” of every employee at an organization. In his presentation, Rajewski stressed that if organizations don’t have the right “people, process and tools” in place before a cyber related event occurs, “it’s not going to be a good day for your company – or for the customers that trusted your organization with their data”. He then continued to teach the audience how to successfully navigate a data breach investigation all while providing practical advice to continually monitor networks for data breaches.
